How can I place my order?+
For all store and DHD orders, place your orders by emailing email@example.com with the item codes, descriptions and quantities along with your account number.
Alternatively, you can fax your orders to us on 01332 812570 – please note that unfortunately we are unable to accept orders over the phone.
All next day orders should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by no later than 2pm Monday to Friday.
Our next day service requires you to have your own courier account and all orders must be collected no later than 4:30 pm – we cannot guarantee loading if your carrier arrives late.
How do I cancel an order?+
If you wish to cancel an existing order, please email email@example.com with your account number and order reference – please note that unfortunately we are unable to accept cancellations over the phone.
Once a next day order has been placed, cancellations or amendments cannot be accepted as these orders are processed immediately due to the short turn around time.
How can I pay for my order?+
We accept payment by all major debit and credit cards, excluding American Express.
Please note that for all payments made by credit card, there is an additional 4% + VAT charge.
Alternatively you can make your payment by BACS. Full details can be found on your invoice or statement.
Please note that for all pre-payment orders, payment must be made prior to dispatch and until payment is received stock will not be reserved for you.
Can I order from Birlea if I am based outside mainland UK?+
Provided that you have a transport company you can use, we are able to deliver into distribution centres for customers who are based outside of mainland UK.
Unfortunately we are unable to deliver outside of mainland UK on our own transport vehicles.
How will my items be delivered?+
Here at Birlea we have our own fleet of delivery vehicles to provide an efficient delivery service throughout the mainland UK.
Where do Birlea deliver to?+
Birlea deliver throughout mainland UK with some exceptions in Scotland; offshore islands are not covered by our delivery service.
Our DHD service is also available throughout mainland UK but there are restrictions in Scotland. The postcodes where DHD is available in Scotland are:
DG, EH, FK, G, KA, ML, TD, AB, DD, IV, KW, KY, PA and PH.
When can I expect my delivery?+
Provided that your order meets our minimum order value of £250, and the goods are in stock, we aim to get your order to you within 7-10 working days.
Items that require our 2 man delivery service due to weight restrictions have a lead time of 7-21 days.
For all pre-assembled items, the delivery lead time is approximately 21 days.
Can Birlea do more than deliver?+
With our DHD service, our drivers provide a room of choice delivery service.
Birlea do not offer an assembly service upon delivery, or removal of packaging or old items.
Can I have a weekend delivery?+
Birlea currently only provide a Monday to Friday delivery service.
What should I do if items are missing / incorrect on my delivery?+
If you are missing any items or have received any incorrect items, please get in touch by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and we will resolve your issue promptly.
What is Birlea’s return policy?+

How do I become a Birlea stockist?+
If you would like to become a Birlea stockist, please complete our stockist enquiry form and a member of the Birlea team will be in touch.
Where can I find images of Birlea products?+
For all image requests please email email@example.com making sure to quote your account number.
Once the account number is confirmed, images will be sent to you via a WeTransfer link where you can download the images from.
Where can I get a copy of the new Birlea brochure?+
You can download a copy of our latest brochure from our homepage, or if you require a hard copy, please contact your Birlea agent who will be able to provide you with a brochure and price list.
Do Birlea provide fabric swatches?+
We are able to provide fabric swatches directly to retailers for all of our fabric and faux leather products.
If you do not have a trade account with Birlea, unfortunately we are unable to send out fabric swatches.

The number of boxes that makes up a product, along with the total product weight, can be found on each individual product page.

Where can I find additional product dimensions?+
All product dimensions can be found on the individual product pages in the form of a dimension line drawing.

What if I can’t see the frame size I require?+
If a frame size is not displayed on the product page then unfortunately that size is not available from Birlea.
Please also note that we only provide UK frame sizes and not European.
How do I care for my Birlea product?+
As we use a variety of materials and finishes in the construction of our products, we have put together a product care guide to help maintain your furniture.
How can I find out about stock availability?+
Birlea provide online access to our live stock information.
The stock report shows all items that are currently in stock, items that are out of stock and their due dates, plus any items that have been discontinued.
To register for access to this service, you will need your Birlea trade account number to complete the sign up form.
Please note that it takes up to 24 hours to approve access to the online stock feed, excluding weekends and bank holidays.
Is this bed frame suitable for adults?+
We recommend that our children’s bed frames are not used by adults due to weight load.
Many of our children’s frames feature mesh bases and steel tube bases which are better suited for children.
Bed frames which are 4′ or wider are generally considered safe for adult usage.
What size mattress can I use on my Birlea bed frame?+
All of our bed frames take standard size UK mattress sizes.
